Again for 2012, the Salem-South Lyon District Library will sponsor the Library Choice Award! All entries are eligible to win the Library Choice Award. This award is presented to the producer of the video that is deemed to be the favorite of the Library staff.
The recipient of the Library Choice Award will receive a prize of $250 but, there's a catch. The recipient of this award has to agree a create a three minute video for the library.
The recipient of the 2011 Library Choice Award was Hannah Lynch of Milford, Michigan.
This award is made possible through a donation from the Friends of the Salem-South Lyon District Library.

The Lyon Film Festival will again present the Audience Choice Award at the Festival Awards Ceremony. This award is voted on by all attendees of the Free Outdoor Screening Night. The video that receives the most votes will receive the Audience Choice Award and $150.
The recipients of the 2011 Audience Choice Award were Morgan Haskins and Macey Fetzer of Brighton, Michigan.
